Goodbye Pak Lah

The Successor (Source)

Najib was sworn in as the new Prime Minister. Obama is the hopes of the Americans., when everything is as bad as shit. Will Najib be the Malaysians' hopes as well? 6 years ago we put on hopes that Pak Lah, the 5th PM, would bring us a better Malaysia, a leader who would not manipulate and discriminate the government, a leader who would put words into action. Slowly we see criticisms flowed among the citizens towards him. 'Mr. Nice Guy', they called him. Or the sleeping head, the soft or the right man at the wrong time.

A journalist from a Chinese newspaper has once portrayed Pak Lah, as a kind father who let his children grow and discover their talents or abilities by themselves, with freedom. In other word, he has spoiled his children with excessive freedom and love. Or perhaps it's the freedom which caused his fall. You see, sometimes a spoil child will never learn his mistakes, that is why Malaysia is struggling to grow. However you can't deny that he has allowed our voice to be heard and more transparency in his administration. And now we know how dirty is the party, the big people.

The greatest challange as a PM, I believe, is leadership. Some says the whole government system is rotten under Pak Lah leadership. Some says he has tried with his best. However, the resignation of Pak Lah has finally put everything to an end.

You know, sometimes we really have to ask ourselves: what do we want Malaysia to do.

Goodbye Pak Lah.

Or some says: don't bother to come back again.
